Writing this from my car in the pouring rain while waiting for my dentist appointment. When the current storm is over (sometime late tonight or tomorrow), we will have had about 15 inches of rain so far this month - about 1/3 of the average annual rainfall in just one month!
Rivers and streams have been flooding for the better part of the past 2-3 weeks and an incredible amount of basement flooding is going on throughout the area. However, my own basement is surprisingly dry!
The past few months have been among the busiest I've ever had in the workplace but finally things appear to be on the verge of settling down so hopefully I'll be able to resume this blog on a daily basis.
Breakfast - None (didn't want to eat prior to dentist appt.)
